Background check notice
A Heart That Matches does not conduct criminal background checks on members. Use caution when connecting with someone, protect your personal information, and meet in a public place. Background checks cannot guarantee someone is safe.
Adults in the United States only
Members must be at least 18 and live in the United States. Residency and age must be confirmed during the approval process.
Be single and honest
Join only if you are currently single and seeking a serious relationship. Use accurate information and photos of yourself.
Four real photos of yourself
Upload four different, recent real photos of yourself, including a clear face photo. No AI-generated images, cartoons, impersonation, or photos of children. New or replaced photos require owner review. Photo uploads alone do not prove identity.
Approval before access
Four real photos, identity verification, and owner approval are required before payment and dating access. Criminal background checks and sex-offender registry screening are not performed. Owner approval does not guarantee anyone’s safety.
Respect boundaries
All sexual orientations and gender identities are welcome. No harassment, threats, hate—including attacks on identity or orientation—unwanted sexual messages, explicit images, or pressure to meet or share personal information.
Protect children’s privacy
Single parents are welcome. Do not post children’s photos, names, schools, or locations.
No scams or money requests
Do not request money, promote investments, impersonate others, or sell services through dating profiles.
Report concerns
Use reporting and blocking tools. Reports may lead to review, suspension, or removal. A staffed review process is not yet operating in this private version.
Request review of mistakes
Applicants may request review of an incorrect membership decision before a final decision.
No-refund policy
Monthly membership payments of $9.99 USD are non-refundable, except where required by law. No refunds or prorated refunds are provided for unused time, a change of mind, finding a partner, or deactivating or deleting your dating account. Cancellation stops future renewals; deactivation and deletion do not cancel billing.
Monthly membership
Membership costs $9.99 USD per month and renews automatically until canceled. Payment is required after identity verification and owner approval for full dating access.
Owner approval does not guarantee safety. Respect your boundaries and take precautions when meeting someone.
